Journey of a Quilt Pattern Designer
This lecture and trunk show focuses on quilts I have made along my journey as a quilter and as I started designing quilts and then started my business. The lecture changes every time as I like to bring new quilts as well as a collection of older quilts. I use the quilts to talk about color and design, how to look at patterns and make quilts that speak to you. Always lots of fun!
How To Smash Your Stash
This lecture and trunk show focuses on quilts that use precuts, and includes tips and ideas on how to use precut patterns to work through your stash…even if you don’t own any precuts! After all, a precut quilt is just a curated scrap quilt! I’ll share quilts from my book, Smash Your Precut Stash. I’ll also share some of my patterns and my journey as a quilt pattern designer. It will be a lot of fun!
Are you looking for class suggestions? I can turn almost any of my patterns into a class, but here are a few ideas from classes I have taught at AQS Quilt Week and at guilds around the country.
